Hardware and Fasteners

Hardware and Fasteners Industry

Almost all fasteners and hardware on the market are made of carbon steel and alloy steel. The main purpose of surface treatment is aesthetics and anti-corrosion. The surface-treated coating must be firmly attached and cannot fall off during installation and removal. Concisely, surface coatings are applied to fasteners to add significant resistance to surface degradation and protect the fastener from premature failure because of corrosion or cracking.

Hardware and Fasteners include components such as:
Nuts and Bolts
Zippers
Hand Tools
Door Knobs

Typical chemical processes for hardware and fasteners components:
Zinc and Zinc Alloy Plating
It provides excellent corrosion protection and a good aesthetic finish.
Nickel Chrome Plating
It is mainly used in places where anti-corrosion and good conductivity are required. Such as the lead-out terminals of vehicle batteries.
Phosphating
It protects the base metal and prevents the metal from being corroded. Used for primer before painting to improve the adhesion and anti-corrosion ability of the paint film layer and for lubrication.
Anodizing
Anodized components can even be dyed to impart an attractive colour. Normally, Aluminium bolts and hardware components are employed for Anodizing.
We specialise in designing and manufacturing NADCAP-approved surface finishing plants for a range of chemical processes:

Anodizing

Hard Chrome Plating

Zinc/Nickel Plating

Cadmium Plating

Electroless Nickel Plating
